About me
I work with mixed media, oils, and charcoal, where I often layer my paintings to create texture and atmosphere. The warm, golden hues of Bath stone are a constant inspiration for my work, while I am also deeply influenced by the Mediterranean sunlight, which I fell in love with during my travels to France, Spain and Italy.
I live near Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire, UK with my family and our cat. He loves to sit with me while I paint.
In 1996 I completed an Art, Design, and Photography course at Hammersmith College, London. I have since further developed my skills through courses at Trowbridge college and at Sue Burns art school.
I feel it is important to keep learning and explore various mediums and techniques, so my work is ever evolving.
